Francesca's Wishes

Francesca Chiara Mancini Forever 20. Francesca was studying Biomedical Science in Edinburgh when a sore finger thought to be Arthritis was actually a Lymphoma cancerous tumour in her thymus. She returned home to Glasgow & had to give up her Edinburgh life to get intensive chemotherapy for initially 12 weeks & got into remission twice within a 6-month period. Francesca was a loving, caring girl who had so much to give loved a laugh & her family & friends were her life. 5 days before she grew her Angel wings she had put a large team together to raise money for charity, she was in agony but walked the 10k without the need of a wheelchair She was such an inspiration to others during her illness, she wrote us all letters before she passed she did her own Obituary for Facebook to make it easier for us thinking about her family to the end.

We will forever be grateful to our Jaks Den Family who helped us put the broken pieces of our lives back together again when Francesca grew her angel wings . We are humbled at getting the chance to keep our gorgeous girl's memory alive through Francesca's Wishes & she will be so proud that we have done this & we are now getting the chance to give something back to the other families who are benefitting as much as we have from this amazing charity.
