This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re calling on individuals, families, schools, clubs, businesses, and communities to help us Glow Gold and stand with children and young people facing cancer.
Every year in Scotland:
Around 180 children aged 0-15 and 200 young people aged 16-25 are diagnosed with cancer.
Across the UK, 12 children and young people are diagnosed every single day — and heartbreakingly, two of them won’t survive.

Team Jak supports over 50 families every week across Scotland — in hospitals, at our Jak’s Dens, in schools, and online — with practical, emotional and social support.
“The doctors healed my son, but Team Jak healed my family.” — CG, parent supported by Team Jak
But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to keep supporting every family who needs us.
Your fundraising helps us provide emotional, social, and practical support to hundreds of families across Scotland, many of whom are navigating the hardest times of their lives. We’re always here, whether a child is newly diagnosed, is in treatment, recovering, or sadly loses their fight.
So gather your team, spread the sparkle, and help us Glow Gold this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We’d love to hear what you’re planning — and we’re here to help with ideas, resources, and promotion.
