Our 10-Year Bee Happy Ball at Edinburgh’s Prestonfield House Hotel marked a decade since Jak’s vision took root, and we are still absolutely buzzing from the love, energy, and generosity shared throughout the evening. It wasn’t just an event, it was a celebration of everything that has brought Team Jak to where we are today.
To everyone who supported the event — whether by attending, donating, sponsoring, volunteering, bidding, performing, or cheering us on from afar — thank you. You helped make the ball a truly unforgettable evening, and most importantly, helped us raise a phenomenal £33,555.57, a 27% increase from last year’s total once all costings were finalised!
This event reminded us just how far we’ve come. Over the past 10 years, guided by Jak’s incredible vision, Team Jak has grown into a vital source of emotional, social, and practical support for children and young people with cancer, their families, friends, and those who are bereaved.
We’re incredibly proud of the community that’s grown around us — a community built on love, kindness, and the shared belief that every child facing cancer deserves joy, dignity, and hope.
